LC Scientific was founded to develop new chemical and genomic approaches for studying biomolecular interactions that are difficult to capture using conventional fixation methods.
Our team brings together expertise in chemical biology, structural biology, genomics, chromatin biology, assay development, and translational research. We combine technology development with collaborative scientific services to help researchers address challenging questions in protein–DNA and protein–RNA biology.
Lin is a professor of chemistry and biological sciences at the University of Southern California with expertise in chemical biology, structural biology, and protein–DNA and protein–RNA interactions. He leads the scientific development of BFPX technology and LC Scientific’s broader strategy for advancing new approaches to studying biomolecular interactions.
Justin is a molecular biologist with experience in chromatin biology, epigenomics, assay development, and translational research. His work has included the development and application of ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and other genomic approaches in academic and biotechnology settings. At LC Scientific, he leads operations and commercialization efforts while supporting the development and application of BFPX technology.
Reza is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University whose research focuses on mapping and engineering cell fate using synthetic biology and genomics. He brings expertise in genomic recording, synthetic biology, genome organization, and technology development.
Ravi is a Virginia and D.K. Ludwig Professor of Medicine and Director of the Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. His research focuses on the molecular and genomic characterization and therapeutic targeting of leukemia stem cells, bringing deep expertise in hematologic malignancies, stem cell biology, genomics, and transcriptional regulation.
